Course Description:
This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking, from initial planning to final production, with a focus on both the theoretical and practical aspects of production.

Course Objectives:
– Understand the complete lifecycle of filmmaking production.
– Develop planning and organizational skills for large-scale productions.
– Acquire negotiation skills and budget management.

– Dealing with challenges and problem-solving during production.

– Marketing, distribution, and theatrical release.

The content of the production course includes a range of topics, such as the feasibility study stage, preparing the estimated budget, the preparation stage, filming stage, finishing stage, exhibition stage, distribution, internal distribution, and external distribution.

At the end of the course, the student presents a study for a cinematic film production project, critiquing a set of local and global production works. Additionally, the student conducts a study on a production project and presents it to a committee of professional and academic specialists for evaluation.

The evaluation is distributed as follows: (40%) theoretical – (40%) practical – (20%) project.
